Because of the high portion of clay and the exclusive use of sphagnum peat with selected grades and sand the frux cactus soil guarantees an ideal air/water balance and an excellent nutrient supply.
It offers an easy watering management and a high degree of crop safet.
Recommendations for the usage:
It is important that the roots with the clump of soil of the plants have been watered thoroughly before repotting. To prevent a buildup of water in the pot are not blocked. The best way is to cover them with pieces of broken plantpots before filling in the soil. When repotting remove the plant with the clump of soil from the old pot. Shake off any loose soil and roughen the clump slightly. Cover the bottom of the new pot with a layer of frux cactus soil. Place the plant, fill all the gaps with the rest of soil and press it down gently. Remember that when filled, the surface of the soil should be about 2 cm (almost 1inch) below the edge of the pot to ensure proper watering. It is very important to water the plants throughly after they have been planted or repotted. Later, water only sparingly. The soil should be moist, but not wet.
For the continuous providing with nutrients we recommend you liquid fertilizier with guano or long-therm fertilizer.
